Mrs. Lottie Morton Was Buried Here Monday Afternoon
Funeral services were held Monday afternoon for Mrs. Lottie Morton, 75, at the Methodist Church in this city with the Rev. F. W. Ortmeyer officiating. Burial was in Oak Hill Cemetery. A short service was held at 2 o’clock at the Dr. M. T. Morton home.

Mrs. Morton had been in ill health for sometime at her home in California. She was just recently taken to the home of her daughter, Mrs. Katherine Glotfelty in Berwyn, Ill, at which place she died Saturday [May 23, 1936] afternoon.

She is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Glotfelty of Berwyn, Ill., and two sons, Dr. M. T. Morton and Owen Morton, both of this city. (Estherville Enterprise, Estherville, IA, May 27, 1936)
