Mrs. Albert McKinney Dead
Passed Away at Estherville A Few Days Ago
Mrs. Albert O. McKinney died this morning of typhoid fever. She had been sick about four weeks. Funeral will be held at the Christian church tomorrow afternoon at 2 o’clock.Irene Smuggins was born November 29, 1873. She was united in marriage to A. O. McKinney at Dows, April 2, 1895. The McKinney family moved to Estherville about three years ago, when Mr. McKinney came here to take the district agency for the Standard Oil Co. Three children were born to Mr. and Mrs. McKinney, Alfred, Margaret and Evans.
Mrs. McKinney has made many warm friends since her residence here and her death comes as a great shock to them.
The entire community sympathizes with Mr. McKinney, who is ---- and the children in their sorrow.
Those present to attend the funeral are: Mr. [Mrs.] Graham, sister of Mr. McKinney, of Minneapolis; Paul McKinney, brother of Mr. McKinney, of Columbia, Wisconsin; Bernard McKinney, brother of Mr. McKinney and family of Dolliver; and Mrs. Blickensderfer, sister of Mrs. McKinney, of Dows. – Estherville Enterprise (Democrat, Emmetsburg, IA, October 13, 1909)
