Frank Maniece Services Scheduled for Wednesday
Frank Edward Maniece, 45, rural Estherville, died at 7:45 p.m. Oct. 15, 1972, at Holy Family Hospital. He had been ill with cancer for the past 18 months.Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Fuhrman Funeral Home, Estherville, with the Rev. H. Allen Wirtz officiating. Interment will be made in Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at any time Tuesday until time of services Wednesday at Fuhrman’s.
Mr. Maniece was born Sept. 18, 1927, to Mr. and Mrs. Edward J. Maniece in Estherville. He received his education in Emmet Consolidated Schools and served three years in the U.S. Navy. All his adult life he farmed in Emmet Township. He was a member of the V.F.W.
Survivors include his mother, Mrs. Anna Maniece; one sister, Mrs. Even (Ruth) Brown, Granger; and one nephew, John Temple, Granger. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, October 16, 1972)
