C. C. Love, 71, Was Victim of Heart Attack
Funeral Services Were Held Today
C. C. Love, who was around 71 years of age, died suddenly Monday [July 10, 1944] forenoon at his farm home east of Graettinger. Mr. Love was a victim of a heart attack. He complained of not feeling well and a moment later passed away. The funeral was held this afternoon. Services were conducted at the home at 1:30 and at the Gruver church at 2:30. Miss Mary Flood, of Varina, Iowa, was in Graettinger today on her way to attend the funeral. Deceased is survived by his wife and three daughters and two sons. The daughters are Mrs. Kenneth Starkey, of this locality, Mrs. Tom Flood, of Tacoma, Washington, and Mrs. Iva Anderson, of Wallingford. The sons are Russell and Jerald. The family resided in this community for a number of years but left here twenty or more years ago. Mr. Love was a very fine gentleman and was highly regarded by all who knew him. Friends here regret very much to learn of his sad and sudden death. The Times extends sincere sympathy to Mrs. Love and to the sons and daughters in their sorrow.
