Mr. and Mrs. W. E. G. Saunders were at Estherville Thursday attending the funeral of Fred Jones, a prominent businessman at that place. Mr. Jones was at Hartley before going to Estherville. Those who knew him had a high regard for him. (Democrat, Emmetsburg, IA, January 15, 1931)
