Word of the sudden passing of Henry Jensen of Estherville was heard in Ruthven the latter part of the past week. He died at Estherville Saturday [July 12, 1941] night due to a heart attack. Mr. Jensen before going to Estherville was a resident of this community at the parental Jensen home seven miles north of town. He sold feed and traveled through this vicinity and traveled through this vicinity regularly. (Democrat, Emmetsburg, IA, July 17, 1941)
Henry Jensen of Estherville, aged 59, died suddenly Saturday noon of a heart attack. Mr. Jensen, who started the Golden Sun Milling company in Estherville, has many relatives in Graettinger, where he was well known. (Reporter, Emmetsburg, IA, July 17, 1941)
Former Palo Alto Resident is Dead
Henry N. Jensen 59, for several years a resident of Palo Alto county, died at his home at Estherville Saturday forenoon from a sudden heart attack. Funeral services were held Tuesday at the Christian church at Estherville, with burial in Oak Hill cemetery there.The deceased was born in West Branch, Ia., and spent his youth in Palo Alto county, later working as a carpenter and operating a farm here. He moved to an Emmet county farm in 1912 and to Estherville 12 years ago. The widow and five children survive. A sister, Mrs. Victor Hansen, lives at Ruthven.
