Funeral Services Today
Was in Real Estate Business Here – Moved to Wisconsin Four Years Ago
W. L. Hull, a former resident of Estherville, died at his home in Wisconsin the first of the week as the result of injuries sustained some two weeks ago. The body was brought to this city this afternoon for burial. Funeral services are being conducted at the Christian church this afternoon by Dr. Green and burial will be made in the West Side cemetery.

Mr. Hull was a former business man of Estherville, at one time conducting the confectionery where Ralph is now located. He later went into the insurance and real estate business and moved to Wisconsin some four or five years ago. He was the son-in-law of O. Dillon of this city.

The accident which caused his death was the result of a horse stepping on him, injuring him so severely he could not get well. He was riding horseback at the time, driving a bull. The bull turned on the horse and knocked it down, throwing Mr. Hull. The horse, as it was getting to its feet again, stepped on Mr. Hull, inflicting the fatal injuries.

The many friends of the family are deeply pained to learn of his untimely death. He was known in this city as a man of honor and he had a great circle of friends who will join with us in extending deepest sympathy to the bereaved family. We are unable at this time to get the complete obituary, but will publish it in full next week. (Estherville Democrat, Estherville, IA, April 26, 1922)
