Funeral Saturday for Mrs. Howard Former Resident
Funeral services for Mrs. Ellen Howard of Pontiac, Michigan, was held in the Mahlum and Anderson chapel Thursday afternoon at two-thirty and the body laid to rest in Oak Hill cemetery. Rev. Fred W. Ortmeyer was in charge.

Mrs. Howard had lived in Estherville almost her entire life until years ago when she went to Pontiac to make her home with a son, Daniel Jones. Three sons and three daughters survive. (Vindicator and Republican, Estherville, IA, September 26, 1939)
