Former Resident Dies; Funeral Set Wednesday
L. Porter Henaman, 60, died at 9:30 a.m. at his home in Minneapolis on Dec. 14.

He was born in Estherville on May 29, 1910, to Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Henaman and attended the Estherville schools.

He was married to Lavon Johnston and in 1950 they moved to Minneapolis to their residence at 4125 Drew Ave. South.

He was a member of the Christian Science Church.

Survivors are his wife, Lavon; one daughter, Mrs. James Maloney, and three sons, Stanton, Allan and Ronald, all of Minneapolis.

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 16, at 2 p.m. at Oak Hill Cemetery with reader Ernest Luessler officiating.

Pallbearers are his three sons, Stanton, Ronald and Allan, and Louis Obye, Oran Anderson and James Maloney. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, December 15, 1970)
