Former Resident Dies
Word was received here today of the death of Mrs. John [Jens] (Andrea [Anna Husby]) Hansen, 75, former Estherville resident who died this morning at Minneapolis. She and her husband lived in the Estherville area for many years, where Mr. Hansen was a tailor. He died in 1947. Mrs. Hansen moved to Minneapolis following the death of her husband. She is survived by one daughter, Berna of Minneapolis; two sons, Harold of Watertown, S.D., and John of Portland, Ore.; six grandchildren, and two brothers and a sister living in Norway. Funeral services will be held here Tuesday at the Sternborg-Reese Funeral Chapel at 1 p.m. with the Rev. L. A. Mathre to officiate. Burial is to be in Oak Hill Cemetery. Minneapolis services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Wernes Brothers Funeral Chapel. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, October 28, 1961)
