Mrs. Byrtha Grebe, 59, Succumbs Here Tuesday
Mrs. Byrtha Mae Grebe, 59, of Estherville passed away at the Good Samaritan Center Tuesday, June 27, 1972.

Mrs. Grebe was born Aug. 17, 1912, at Belvedere, S.D., the daughter of Ruby and Omer Gardner, received her education at Graettinger and was married to Marvin Grebe in 1935. She was a member of the Methodist Church and was a circle member.

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Marva Simpson of Key West, Fla.; three brothers, Ira Gardner of Albuquerque, N. Mex., Lloyd Gardner of Cedar Falls and Stanley of Burbank, Calif.; three sisters, Mrs. Vesta Harding of Estherville, Mildred Gardner of Estherville and Mrs. Edith Basey of Puyallup, Wash.; and two grandchildren, Marcus and Suzanne Simpson.

Services are set for 2 p.m. Thursday at the Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Richard Pearson officiating. Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, June 28, 1972)
