Final Rites Wednesday for Warren B. Flindt
Funeral services were held Wednesday for Warren B. Flindt, 79, who died Monday at Dickinson County Memorial Hospital. The rites were conducted at the Spirit Lake Baptist church with the Rev. Henry Geigle officiating.

Mr. Flindt was born Sept. 7, 1883 at Dows, Iowa. He was a barber by trade but had been in retirement for several years.

He is survived by his wife, Lulu, and a brother, Ben Flindt of Aiken, Minn. Interment was in Oak Hill cemetery at Estherville. (Spirit Lake Beacon, Spirit Lake, IA, October 11, 1962)

Former Local Barber Dies at Spirit Lake
Borgen Flindt, 79, Spirit Lake, former Estherville barber, died this morning at Dickinson County Memorial Hospital. Mr. Flindt underwent surgery at the hospital about a month ago and had been confined there since that time. Immediate cause of death was attributed to peritonitis.

Mr. Flindt at one time was a barber in the Gardston Barber shop and later was employed at Central Barber Shop.

Surviving his death are his widow, one brother, B. B. Flindt of Aitkin, Minn., and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services are to be Wednesday afternoon but exact time and place had not been determined this morning (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, October 8, 1962)

Flindt Rites Wednesday
Funeral services for Borgen Flindt, former Estherville resident who died yesterday at Spirit Lake, will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Baptist church in Spirit Lake. The Rev. Henry Geigle will preside at the services. Pallbearers will be barbers from Spirit Lake, Spencer and Estherville. Those from Estherville are Cecil Eide and Elmer Moore. Warren B. Flindt
Warren B. Flindt was born Sept. 7, 1883 at Dows, Iowa and died Oct. 8, 1962 at Dickinson County Memorial Hospital.

Mr. Flindt had been a barber for many years in the surrounding area. He had been a resident for the past 12 years residing at 2009 Gary Ave. at the time of his deth.

Survivors include: his wife, Lulu; a brother, Ben of Aitken, Minn.; five nieces; a nephew; two step-daughters; two step-sons; and six grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Oct. 10, 1962 at the First Baptist church in Spirit Lake with the Rev. Henry Geigle officiating. Pallbearers were Roy Thrush of Spirit Lake, Bill Green of Spencer, Elmer McKinney of Orleans, Ben D. Sanders of Arnolds Park and Elmer Moore and Cecil E. Eide, both of Estherville.

Interment was in Oak Hill cemetery in Estherville. (Spirit Lake Beacon, Spirit Lake, IA, November 1, 1962)
