Cecil Erickson, 66, Estherville, Dies, Rites are Tuesday
Cecil Erickson, 66, Estherville, died at 7:40 a.m. Saturday morning at the Holy Family Hospital.

He had been in failing health for the past few years.

He was born May 16, 1903, at Boone to Mr. and Mrs. Charles Erickson. He was educated in the Boone schools.

He was married Sept. 2, 1932, to Ina Lucas at Sioux Falls, S.D. He had been a truck driver for Boggess Sand and Gravel before his retirement.

He was a member of the Estherville Christian Church.

He is survived by his wife, Ina, Estherville; one daughter, Mrs. Francis (Mary) Zitterick, Sioux Falls; two sons, Robert C. Erickson, Minneapolis; Charles McClintock Quimby; two sisters, Mrs. John Hanson, Fairmont, Mrs. Glen Fairchild, Boone; one brother, Ernest Erickson, Florida; and 14 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, two sisters and one brother.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Reese-Henry Chapel in Estherville. The Rev. Sawyer will officiate. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.
