Mrs. Erickson Dies Sunday
Former Resident to Be Buried Thursday
Mrs. Gladys Erickson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Johnson of this city, died at 10:45 a.m. Sunday at Flint, Mich., following an operation for stomach trouble.Mrs. Erickson was born Aug. 3, 1906 at Dunnell, Minn. She moved with her parents to Estherville when thirteen years of age. She was married to Eric Erickson, Feb. 14, 1924, in Flint and has lived at that place since.
She is survived by her husband, her father and mother, a brother Clarence of Fort Dodge, two sisters, Mrs. Gertrude Barlow of Minneapolis and Mrs. Harry Munson of Sherburn, Minn.
Funeral services will be held at the Christian church Thursday at 2:00 p.m., the Rev. M. A. Lowe officiating. (Vindicator and Republican, Estherville, IA, August 22, 1933)
Funeral Services for Mrs. Eric Erickson to Be Held Thursday
Mrs. Gladys Caryl Erickson of Flint, Mich., daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Johnson of this city, passed away Sunday, August 20th, at her home at Flint, Mich., following an operation which she underwent on Saturday. Mrs. Erickson was born August 3, 1906, in Lake Fremont township, near Dunnell, Minn., where she grew to womanhood. On February 14, 1924, she was married to Eric Erickson at Flint, Mich., where she made her home since that time. Her parents Mr. and Mrs. Albert Johnson of this city, two sisters, Mrs. Gertrude Barlow of Minneapolis and Mrs. Harry Munson of Sherburn, Minn.; one brother, Clarence, of Fort Dodge; one brother, Milford, died in 1926. Funeral services will be held at three o’clock tomorrow afternoon at the Christian Church in this city. Burial will be in Oak Hill cemetery.
