A Flu Victim at Terril
Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Duncan of Terril mourn the death of their infant daughter, Betty Ann, who passed away Saturday night. She had intestinal flu. (Democrat, Emmetsburg, IA, December 11, 1930)

Infant Daughter Passed Away
Betty Ann Duncan, 7-months-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Duncan, of Terril, who live on a farm north of town, died Saturday night, after suffering from intestinal flu for eight days. Funeral services were held Monday at Estherville at 2 p.m. from the Sternborg chapel with Rev. S. Jacobson, pastor of the M.E. church of Terril officiating. Burial was made at Oak Hill cemetery at Estherville. Betty Ann is survived by her parents, two sisters, Bonita, and Mary, and one brother, Jimmy.
