Aged Man is Called to Reward
William Frederick Dick was born October 18. 1861 at Big Rock, Ill. He was married to Mary Elizabeth Warner at Worthing, S.D. Mr. Dick had been a resident of Estherville for the past forty years. He was employed by the city for twenty years.

He is survived by his wife, two sons, Theodore Dick of Vinton and Albert Dick of Estherville; three daughters, Mrs. T. E. Anderson of Estherville, Mrs. Frank Schreiber of Saint Paul, Minn. and Mrs. R. J. Olmstead also of St. Paul.

William Dick, 80, who had been ill for quite some time died at his home, 1217 First Avenue South, Friday [September 18, 1942] morning at 9:15. Mr. Dick suffered from heart trouble and his condition has been considered as serous for the past four months.

Funeral services were held at 2:30 P.M. at the Sternborg Funeral Home with the Reverend Sawyer officiating. Burial was made in the Oakhill Cemetery. (Vindicator and Republican, Estherville, IA, September 22, 1942)
