Former Area Resident Dies
San Diego, Calif. – A former Estherville resident, Mrs. Paul (Effie) Stachwick of San Diego, Calif., died suddenly at her home, July 29. She was 61 years old. Funeral services and burial were held in San Diego.

She was born in Estherville on Dec. 24, 1912. The daughter of the late George E. and Marie C. Anderson, she married Paul E. Stachwick of Huron, S.D. on Feb. 10, 1932 in St. Paul Minn. They lived in Estherville until 1942 when they moved to San Diego.

Mrs. Stachwick is survived by her husband Paul, a son Gary, his wife and three grandchildren, a brother, Francis E. Anderson, all of San Diego; and a sister, Mrs. Glenn (Ethel) L. Whiteford of Windom, Minn. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, August 5, 1974)
