Funeral services for Mrs. Marguerite Currell, 81, of Estherville, were at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Estherville United Methodist Church with the Rev. Max E. Goldman officiating and burial at the Oak Hill Cemetery, she died at her Estherville home Saturday.

Mrs. Currell was born Jan. 14, 1894 at Traer to Mr. and Mrs. Neil S. McKerral and received her education in the Traer schools and graduated from Currell College in 1917. She was married to Wayne C. Currell at Traer Nov. 10, 1918 and the couple lived in Dalhi and Manchester before coming to Estherville in 1927.

Mr. Currell had been president of the Emmet County State Bank in Estherville before his death in December 1959. Mrs. Currell had been a member of the United Methodist Church, P.E.O., Order of Eastern Star and Social Order of Beauccant.

Survivors include three sons, Charles R. and James A. of Estherville and Robert L. of Spirit Lake; and five grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, two sons, her parents, one brother and one sister.
