Former Manchester Resident Dies at Estherville Home
Manchester, Ia. – Word was received by relatives here Thursday of the death that morning of Walter W. Cox, 80, at his home at Estherville. His final illness was of brief duration. He was engaged at the tinner’s trade here in an early day, leaving 23 years ato for Estherville, since his home.

Surviving are his widow, of Estherville; three children, Merton L., Lorena G. and Clarence R. Cox, Manchester; two brothers, Ed, Omaha, Neb., and Harvey, Estherville; two sisters, Mrs. Sam Johnson of Estherville, Ia., and Mrs. Joseph H. Rhines of Manchester; and two grandchildren, Charmion L. and Herbert B. Cox, also of Manchester.

Services will be held at Estherville Saturday afternoon and interment made there. (Waterloo Daily Courier, Waterloo, IA, February 5, 1932)
