Estherville Native’s Rites Set
Estherville – Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Kalteaux Anderson, 85, of Burbank, Calif., will be held at the Henry Funeral Home in Estherville at 1:30 p.m., Tuesday, September 17. The Rev. Harvey G. Throop of the Presbyterian Church will officiate.

Interment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery in Estherville.

Mrs. Anderson died Wednesday, Sept. 11, in Burbank, where she had been living since 1969.

She was born March 21, 1889, at Spirit Lake to the late Pearl and Frank Ferguson. She was wed to the late Lloyd Anderson in 1909 and the couple lived in Estherville for several years.

Mrs. Anderson was a member of the Estherville Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star.

She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Stanley (Alberta) Gardner of Burbank; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband and parents.

Friends may call at Henry Funeral Home in Estherville after 10 a.m. Monday until time of services. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, September 13, 1974)

Mrs. Lloyd Anderson Services Set Tuesday
Estherville – Funeral services for Mrs. Lloyd L. Anderson, 85, Van Nuys, Calif., will be held at the Henry Funeral Home in Estherville at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday with the Rev. Harvey G. Throop of the Estherville Presbyterian Church officiating.

Burial will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery in Estherville.

Mrs. Anderson died Wednesday at a Burbank, Calif., hospital after a three month illness. During those three months she had been living with her daughter, Mrs. Stanley D. Gardner, in Burbank.

Mrs. Anderson was a member of the D.A.R., joining Estherville’s Okamanpado Chapter in 1912. She was a 50-year member of the Order of Eastern Star and was a charter member of the Beauceant Assembly 63, joining in 1952. She and her husband resided in the area until 1969.

She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Van Nuys and services were held there on Sept. 13 with the Rev. Robert Rigstad officiating.

She is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Stanley (Alberta) Gardner and three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, September 16, 1974)
