Heart Attack is Fatal to Local Man
Bart Conlin, 58 died suddenly on Saturday morning at seven-thirty of heart failure as he was working on the sewer ditch on East Walnut street just off North Eighth. Mr. Conlin had been working but a short time when stricken.

Although a resident of Estherville but three years, he was quite well known here. His wife passed away two years ago and he was laid to rest beside her in Oak Hill cemetery.

Funeral services were held from the Sternborg chapel at one o’clock Monday afternoon with Rev. Frank Yearnd of the Union Baptist church officiating.

Mr. Conlin was born in Scott county in 1874. He lived near Sherburn, Minn., for many years and has a number of nephews and nieces near Truman. There are also three brothers on Nicholas Conlin at Manilla, Iowa, and two others living in Canada. (Vindicator and Republican, Estherville, IA, September 26, 1933)
