A baby daughter was born to Mr. and Mrs. Ray H. Brown on Saturday [June 6, 1925] but lived only until the next day [June 7, 1925]. Burial services were held on Monday. (Vindicator and Republican, Estherville, IA, June 10, 1925)

A baby girl, Genevieve Rae, was born to Mr. and Mrs. Ray Brown on Saturday, June 6th. She lived but a few hours and passed away early Sunday morning. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon from the home, Rev. Chipperfield officiating. Interment was made in Oak Hill Cemetery. The bereaved parents have the sympathy of the entire community in their hours of sorrow. (Estherville Democrat, Estherville, IA, June 10, 1925)
