Mrs. Jay Bosworth Former Resident is Buried Here
Funeral services for Mrs. Elsie Bosworth, wife of Jay Bosworth, formerly of Estherville will be held this (Tuesday) afternoon at two-thirty from the Christian church with Rev. Frank Yearnd pastor of the Union Baptist church officiating. Mrs. Bosworth passed away Thursday [November 17, 1932] morning at a sanitarium at Hawthorne, Wis. She is the daughter of Chas. Reed of this city. Surviving her untimely passing are four children, Elva, Dorothy, Reynald and Betty, her husband, all of Hawthorne, father and two sisters, Rose and Verne Reed of Estherville, and a third sister, Mrs. Harry Allen of Spirit Lake, also two aunts Mrs. Clyde Beatty and Mrs. Edmund Beatty of Spirit Lake and an uncle, A. C. Riggs of Estherville.

Mrs. Bosworth was born in Estherville and had spent almost her entire life here. She moved away from here with her husband and children about seven years ago. She had been in the sanitarium for nearly a year. (Vindicator and Republican, Estherville, IA, November 22, 1932)

Funeral Rites Here Today for Mrs. Eliza Bosworth
The remains of Eliza Bosworth were brought here from Cumberland, Wis., Monday and were laid to rest in Oak Hill Cemetery this afternoon. Mrs. Bosworth was born and reared in this city. Several years ago she moved with the family to Cumberland. She has been ill for sometime past in a hospital at Hawthorne, Wis., which is near her home town.

The funeral services were held from the Mahlum and Anderson chapel and from the Christian Church at two this afternoon, the Rev. Frank Yearnd officiating. She is survived by her husband and father and three daughters.

Mrs. Bosworth was the daughter of Charles Reed of this city and was 38 years old at the time of her death. (Estherville Enterprise, Estherville, IA, November 23, 1932)

Mrs. Harry Allen received a message last week telling her of the death of her eldest sister, Mrs. Jay Bosworth, of Grantsburg, Wis., who passed away at the sanitarium at Hawthorne, Wis. Mrs. Bosworth was the oldest daughter of Charles Reed, of Estherville. She leaves her husband and four children, besides her father, Charles Red, and three sisters, Mrs. Harry Allen and Misses Rose and Verna Reed who deeply mourn her passing. We extend our sincere sympathy to each and every one of the bereaved relatives. (Spirit Lake Beacon, Spirit Lake, IA, November 24, 1932)
