Woman Dies
Word was received here today of the death of Mrs. V. J. Beauman, a former Estherville resident, who died Monday morning at Hilltop House, Spirit Lake, at the age of 82.Her husband for many years owned a lumber company here. Her son, Delbert Beauman, is in the same business, as proprietor of Maple Hill Lumber Co.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at St. Alban’s Episcopal Church, Spirit Lake, with Fr. George Six officiating. Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery, Estherville. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, April 1, 1969)
Mrs. Grace Beauman
Mrs. Grace Beauman, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. M. L. Perkins, was born June 5, 1886 at Lake City, Iowa and died March 31, 1969 at Hilltop House Nursing Home in Spirit Lake after a lingering illness.Survivors include: one son, Delbert of Spirit Lake; two daughters, Madge of Des Moines and Helen of North Carolina; one brother, three half-brothers and one half-sister.
She was preceded in death by her parent and husband, who died in 1953.
Funeral services were held April 2 at St. Alban’s Episcopal Church with the Rev. George Six officiating. Mrs. Cameron Arnold was the organist and pallbearers were Dick Osgerby, Jim Jackson, Vernon Lanmesser, Robert Cox, Kenneth Meadows, Arnold Anderson.
Interment was in Oak Hill Cemetery at Estherville with the Harpole-Tenold Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. (Spirit Lake Beacon, Spirit Lake, IA, April 17, 1969)
