Funeral set Tuesday for Mrs. D. Beauman
Mrs. Delbert (Maxine) Beauman, 59, Estherville, died at 10:30 p.m. Friday [April 30, 1971] at her home.

She was born Jan. 24, 1912, at Fairmont to Mr. and Mrs. L. K. Converse. She received her education in the Albert Lea and Estherville schools and graduated from the University of Minnesota School of Nursing.

She has been a resident of the area for the past 40 years, having lived in Spirit Lake, Maple Hill and Estherville.

On Feb. 11, 1934, she was married to Delbert L. Beauman at Estherville. She was a member of the Grace Episcopal Church.

She is survived by her husband, Delbert; one son, Lee C. Beauman, Estherville; and five daughters, Mrs. Ronald (Gwen) Graeber, Estherville; Mrs. George (Barbara) Smith, Sapee, Calif.; Mrs. Robert (Gay) Niehei, and Mrs. Dick (Neva) Okota, Redondo Beach, Calif.; and Mrs. Cliff (MiMi) Palmer of Los Alamos, N.M.; 17 grandchildren; her father, L. K. Converse, Lake Wood, Ohio; and one brother, V. F. Converse, also of Lake Wood.

She was preceded in death by her mother and one brother, Donald.

Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Grace Episcopal Church with Fathers Hunt, MacFarlane and Dicks officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Fuhrman Funeral Home until Tuesday noon when the body will be taken to lie in state at the church.

Pallbearers will be Tom Shinbara, Milo Chozen, Leon Blake, Merle Landmesser, Father Laurence Burns and Father George Six. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, May 3, 1971)
