To Hold Graveside Rites
A graveside service will be held at Oak Hill cemetery on May 17 at 11 a.m. for the cremains of Burr G. “Cap” Williams, former sheriff of Emmet County. The Rev. Thomas G. Melton will officiate at the service. Mr. Williams died March 17 at Fort Myers, Fla. while vacationing there. Mrs. Gertrude Williams will accompany the cremains here for burial. Mr. and Mrs. Williams had made their home at Chevy Chase, Md., in recent years. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, May 7, 1957)
