Mrs. Wells Passes Away
Funeral Services Today at Methodist Church; Burial At Oak Hill Cemetery

After an illness of only a week Mrs. Frank Wells passed away Monday [September 2, 1935] night at 11 o’clock in a local hospital. Mrs. Wells death came as a shock to her many friends and neighbors.

Funeral services are being held this afternoon at 2 o’clock at the farm home north of Estherville, and at 2:30 at the Methodist Episcopal church. The Rev. F. W. Ortymeyer is officiating. Interment will be in Oak Hill cemetery.

Mrs. Wells and her husband have been residents of this county for fourteen years coming here from a farm near Superior. Mrs. Wells was born June 12, 1894 [cemetery records say 1895], in Sac county and was married to Frank Wells on March 18, 1913.

She is survived by her husband, three daughters, Mrs. Lyle Jackman, Aletha and Ila, one son, Donald, and two brothers, Milo Ellinger of Wichita, Kans., and Allen Ellinger of Beaverson [Beaverton], Ore. (Vindicator and Republican, Estherville, IA, September 5, 1935)
