Wilson Towell, Iowa, Stricken
Wilson H. Towell, 41, a son of Mrs. Fred S. Towell and a brother of Mrs. Harriet Voris, died suddenly of a heart attack last night at Estherville, Ia. He was an insurance agent there and was engaged in a business conference there when stricken.His mother and sister left this morning for Estherville where services will be held tomorrow. Mrs. Towell is employed at the Link store; her daughter at Swiss Colony.
Mr. Towell was the son of Fred A. and Nellie W. Grimes Towell. His parents moved to Monroe in 1938. The father was territory manager of the Mid-Continental Petroleum Corp. He died suddenly March 13, 1952 following a heart attack.
Surviving Wilson H. Towell are his wife [Arlene Lakin Towell], a 16-year-old son; his mother, three brothers, Frederick Towell, Chuquicamata, Chile; Martin, Iowa City, Ia., and Robert, a commissioned officer in the Air Corps stationed in Washington, D.C.; and two sisters, Mrs. Everett Fahr, Waterloo, Ia., and Mrs. Voris.
