Estherville Native Dies in Albuquerque Sunday
Estherville – Mrs. Nancy K. Torrens, 95, an Estherville native and resident of Albuquerque, N.M., succumbed Sunday, Jan. 5, in Albuquerque. Mrs. Torrens was born Nov. 12, 1879 in Estherville, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Klopp.

Following her marriage, Mrs. Torrens lived in Minneapolis for several years until moving to Albuquerque 10 years ago.

Funeral services for Mrs. Torrens are pending at the Fuhrman Funeral home in Estherville.

She is survived by one son, Dr. John C. Torrens, Albuquerque; one sister, Dorothy Klopp, Albuquerque; and one niece, Mrs. J. F. Carriveau, Albuquerque. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, January 6, 1975)
