I. G. Willey is attending his father-in-law’s funeral today, Mr. Trimble of Ellsworth township. We were not acquainted with him, but his daughter, Miss Dove, made many friends here while teaching the winter term of school here who will sympathy with her in her great loss. (Estherville Democrat, Estherville, IA, April 11, 1900)

B. Trimble Sr., one of the old and highly respected citizens, of Ellsworth township, died Tuesday, of old age. Funeral services were held Wednesday and the body laid to rest in Oak Hill cemetery in this city. (Emmet County Republican, Estherville, IA, April 12, 1900)

Word comes of the death of Benjamin [Benoni] Trimble in Emmet county, Iowa, April 9, from infirmity of age; he was perhaps eight-five years old and a former resident of Washington county, until four years ago. He leaves a wife, four daughters and a son. (Morning Son News-Herald, Morning Sun, IA, April 12, 1900)
