Death Reported
Word has been received here of the death of Mrs. Mabel Holmes Smillie on Feb. 5 at Clearwater, Fla. Mrs. Smillie, who was 91 at the time of her death, was the widow of the late F. H. Sunderlin, former Estherville school superintendent for whom Sunderlin Field was named Mrs. Smillie’s death was the result of heart failure and circulatory complications. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Ben. J. (Dorothy) Rotter of Clearwater. The body was cremated and the ashes will be interred in Oakhill cemetery.
