Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Sterner are passing through heavy affliction caused by the death of their youngest child that was two years, nine months and fifteen days old. The little one died in the fore part of the week and was buried from the Christian church yesterday. Rev. Truax preached the sermon and the burial was made in the west side cemetery. Universal sympathy will go out to the bereaved parents in their great sorrow. (Northern Vindicator, Estherville, IA, December 21, 1893)
