Mrs. Snyder Passed Away on Friday
Death called Mrs. Mary A. Snider, who for the past fifty-two years has been a resident of this city, and for a greater part of the time has resided on the same property on East Lincoln street. She was 93 years of age at the time of her death on last Friday evening. Her extreme age made her in such a physical condition that she was not able to withstand the last illness which lasted for five weeks.

We have known Mrs. Snyder ever since she came to Estherville and for years she was a close neighbor. She was a home woman and devoted her life to the interests of her family.

The funeral services were held on Monday at two o’clock from the home, the Rev. F. W. Ortmeyer officiating. Interment was made in Oak Hill cemetery.

The deceased is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Fidella Miller and Mrs. Laura Utz of this city and Mrs. Anna Davis of Sebeka, Minnesota. (Estherville Enterprise, Estherville, IA, February 11, 1937)
