Mrs. Lyle Shultz Dies; Services Here on Monday
Mrs. Joseph Lyle (Minnietta) Shultz, 76, died at 4 p.m. Nov. 8 in Holy Family Hospital, Estherville.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Reese-Henry Chapel with the Rev. Raymond Wuerch of Calvary Gospel Assembly and the Rev. Max Goldman of United Methodist Church officiating. Interment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.

She was born June 3, 1897 in Webster City to Samuel and Grace Van Eman. She was educated in Webster City schools and schools in Estherville after the family moved to Estherville in 1902. On Feb. 7, 1917, Minnietta was married to Joseph Lyle Shultz in Estherville.

Mrs. Shultz was a member of the United Methodist Church, Rebekah Lodge, V.F.W. Auxiliary and Pythian Sisters.

Surviving are her husband; two daughters, Mrs. Jerome (Marjorie) Goering, Orange Vale [Orangevale], Calif. and Mrs. Leonard (Harriet) Knode, Pomona, Calif.; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; one brother, Wylie Van Eman, Anaheim, Calif.; and a sister, Mrs. Willa Warner, Park Rapids, Minn.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two sons, Raymond and Harold, and a daughter, Helen.
