Sidney Schutt Dies Saturday
Sidney S. Schutt, 66, Estherville, died Saturday, May 20, 1972, at Holy Family Hospital after suffering a heart attack.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. tomorrow at the Immanuel Lutheran Church with the Rev. Ronald Flentgen officiating. Burial will be made at Oak Hill Cemetery.

Mr. Schutt was born Sept. 2, 1905 in St. Paul to Edward and Emma Schutt. He received his education in Thief River Falls schools in Minnesota. He was married to Eva Erickson on May 22, 1943 in St. Paul and they lived in St. Paul for about three years while he was employed by Ford Co.

They moved to Estherville in 1946 where he was employed by K and S Sales for a short time. He was then employed by Golden Sun Feeds as assistant sales manager remaining there until his retirement Oct. 1, 1970. Since his retirement, he has worked part time with the Superior Coop Elevator.

He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Estherville.

Mr. Schutt is survived by his wife, Eva; one son, Clifford Schutt, Miami, Fla.; one daughter, Mrs. Gordon (Kristine) Reuland, Edison, N.J.; one brother, Clifford Schutt, Pelican Rapids, Minn.; one sister, Mrs. Genevieve Protzeller, Fairmont, Minn. Preceding him in death were his parents and one sister.

Pallbearers will be Robert Hammond, Harold Niss, Leland Kolpin, Richard Potratz, Clayton King and John Koenecke.
