Wallingford Man Dies at Home Wednesday A.M.
Charles Sangster, 67, farmer at Wallingford dropped dead at his home Wednesday morning as a result of a heart attack. His death was almost immediate.Mrs. Sangster is an old resident of the Wallingford community. He is survived by his wife and his daughter Mrs. Roy Coleman of near Estherville.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 Saturday afternoon at the Christian church. Interment will be made in Oak Hill cemetery. (Vindicator and Republican, Estherville, IA, September 15, 1932)
Charles Sangster Dies From Heart Attack
Charles Sangster, 67, passed away at his home near Wallingford of an acute heart attack. He resided in this city many years. Here, he was known among his many friends as “Chuck” Sangster and he was a man who made friends and kept them. One might say, to know him was to be a friend of him. He was a genial fellow, well met.He removed to the farm a short time ago and while not in the most rugged health, his condition has not been serious. He is survived by a widow and one daughter, Mrs. Roy Coleman.
Mr. Sangster was a staunch member of the I.O.O.F. lodge and in younger days was a regular attendant.
The funeral services were held on Saturday and interment was made in Oak Hill cemetery. (Estherville Enterprise, Estherville, IA, September 21, 1932)
