Charles Rost Dies; Services Set Saturday
Charles E. (Gene) Rost, 65, Estherville, died Thursday [April 15, 1971] afternoon at Holy Family Hospital.

He was born Oct. 19, 1905, in Estherville, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles C. Rost. He received his education in Estherville schools.

On Aug. 16, 1929, he was married to Rose Danielson at Spirit Lake. They made their home in Estherville. He was a member of the first Christian Church. Mrs. Rost died July 16, 1960.

He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Richard (Barbara) Abel, Estherville; and two grandsons, Bryce and Jay. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday with the Rev. Robert Karl Miller of the First Christian Church (Disciples) officiating. Services will be held at the Grace Episcopal Church with burial in the Oak Hill Cemetery.
