Obituary of Earl Henry Roberts
Earl Henry Roberts was born in Sioux Rapids, Iowa, Dec. 18, 1886, and died at Oldham, S.D., June 27, 1918, at the age of 32 years, 6 months and 9 days. In 1897 he removed with his family to Graettinger, Iowa where the greater part of his life has been spent.

His death was caused by an accident from which he never recovered consciousness.

He was converted in 1915 in the Bulgin Tabernacle meetings held in Estherville and later joined the Congregational church at Drakola, S.D. He leaves to mourn his sudden departure his mother, one sister and five brothers. The body was brought to Estherville on the afternoon train June 28th and taken to the home of his brother, Ray Roberts, 208 E. Howard St., where the funeral services were held Saturday p.m. at 1:30, being conducted by the Rev. J. Frederic Catlin. (Estherville Enterprise, Estherville, IA, July 3, 1918)
