A.Roben, 80, Former Resident, Dies
Funeral services for a long time Palo Alto resident, Anton Roben, 80, were held Tuesday afternoon in Emmanuel Lutheran church in Estherville with the Rev. William P. Henline, pastor, officiating.

Mr. Roben died Saturday afternoon after suffering a heart attack in his home at Graettinger.

Burial was in the Oak Hill cemetery with the Sternberg Funeral home in Estherville in charge.

Mr. Roben was born April 6, 1870, in Germany. He had been a resident of Graettinger for many years and was well known throughout Palo Alto County.

He is survived by his wife, Hanna, two sons, Gerhard of Sherburn, Minn., and Ernest of Johnstown, Minn., two daughters, Mrs. Larry Spitzer (Elsie) of San Jose, Calif., Mrs. Edgar Howell (Teresa) of Chokio, Minn., and one brother, Gerhard Roben of Good Thunder, Minn.
