Ferdinant Priepke Dies
Ferdinant Priepke, 79, long-time resident of Estherville, died of heart disease at 4:45 a.m. today at Holy Family hospital. He had been suffereing from the disease for the past two months. Pripke, who lived on the School Section creek road, was a laborer in Estherville. He has no relatives in this area, his only known living relative being Carl Priepke, a cousin at Clarksville. He was single, and a member of the Lutheran church. Funeral arrangements have been postponed pending word from the cousin in Clarksville. Efforts to notify the cousin of Priepkes’s death have been unsuccessful to date. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, March 25, 1950)
