Mrs. John Morello, 63, Dies After Short Illness
Mrs. John Morello, long-time resident of Emmet county died at 9 p.m. yesterday at Holy Family hospital, at the age of 65. She had been hospitalized since Sunday.

Born Nov. 8, 1888, in Nebraska, she is the former Grace Ballinger who taught rural schools in Emmet county for a number of years.

Surviving her death are her husband; father; brother, Theodore Ballinger of Chicago, Ill., and sister, Mrs. Hazel Loomis of Macksburg besides a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Sternborg funeral home, the Rev. H. Hughes Dill officiating. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, May 26, 1954)
