Mrs. Fidelia Morse died at her home nine miles northwest of Estherville, April 11, 1901. Deceased was born June 24, 1837, and on July 2, 1863 was married to Ira Morse. To them were born three daughters, two of whom with their father survive. Early in life she converted, joining the Methodist Episcopal church, and has lived a consistent Christian life. The funeral services were conducted by Rev. F. W. Ginn, at the home. The remains were interred in the Oak Hill cemetery at Estherville. Many friends join in sympathy with the bereaved.
