Former Local Woman dies
Mrs. Amy Sizer McDonald Passes in Minneapolis; Burial Here Today

The body of Mrs. Amy Sizer Sims McDonald, of Minneapolis, formerly of Estherville, and was returned to this city today and burial was made in the Oak Hill cemetery this (Tuesday) afternoon. Prayer was said by the Rev. E. E. Taylor of the Free Methodist church.

Mrs. McDonald was well known in Estherville, having lived here her entire life until twelve years ago when she married Mr. McDonald and went to Minneapolis to make her home. She is survived by two sons, Chester and Frederick, and a daughter, Florence [ ] of Minneapolis, and three brothers, Joe Sizer of Gary, Ind., and Charles and Willard Sizer both of Minneapolis. Mrs. Amy Sizer McDonald Dead
The remains of Mrs. Amy Sizer McDonald, 52, were brought to Estherville on Tuesday for burial. A short service was held at the cemetery. Mrs. McDonald was reared n this city and was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Sizer. As a girl she attended public school here. (Estherville Enterprise, Estherille, IA, December 14, 1939)

Mrs. C. A. Stillwell received word Monday of the death of her niece, Mrs. Amy Sizer MacDowell [McDonald] at Minneapolis. Mrs. MacDowell passed away on Friday. (Spirit Lake Beacon, Spirit Lake, IA, December 14, 1939)
