Mrs. M. M. Marley, wife of M. M. Markley, who lives just south of town died at her home last Wednesday of paralysis. Mrs. Markley was sick but a few days.

The funeral services were held at the home Friday and interment made in west side cemetery. Mrs. M. M. Markley was born in Ontario, Canada, 52 years ago. In 1880 she was joined in matrimony to M. M. Markley. Six children were born to this union, four of whom still survive.

Mrs. Markley was a lovable woman. She was a lady of refinement and surrounded herself with a large circle of friends, who regret her death.

The following relatives were present to attend the funeral: Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Sellers, Mr. and Mrs. E. C. Markley and Jacob Small of Schaller, Iowa, and C. R. Markley of Des Moines.
