Funeral Sunday for LeRoy Longman
Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at the Sternborg Funeral chapel for Orville LeRoy Longman, 8-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. G. A. Longman, who died on Thursday at a local hospital following an operation. Col C. A. Dailey officiated at the service. Pallbearers were Kenneth Polson, Harold Marley, Marilyn Ankrum, and Mervin Phelp. Burial was at the Oak Hill cemetery.

Orville LeRoy Longman was born in Estherville, Nov. 23, 1925. He is survived by his parents, one sister, Mrs. Verl Wilson and two brothers, William Robert and Clyde Arthur. (Vindicator and Republican, Estherville, IA, February 13, 1934)
