Death of a Little Child
Little LeVahn Marie Leo, the five-weeks-old baby girl of Mr. and Mrs. Emil Leo, passed away after a three days illness of acute pneumonia. LeVahn was the only child of Mr. and Mrs. Leo, they having lost a little son less than two years ago, and this only makes their sorrow the harder to bear. She was not only idolized by her loving parents, but was possessed of many relatives on both sides of the family who planned constantly for her present and future welfare. The services were held at the home, corner of Ninth and Robert streets, yesterday and were conducted by Rev. J. D. Vannoy. The casket was surrounded by a profusion of the most beautiful flowers obtainable. The remains were laid to rest beside those of her little brother in Oak Hill cemetery. Mr. and Mrs. Leo have the sincere sympathy of their many friends. (Estherville Enterprise, Estherville, IA, August 20, 1913)
