Mrs. Keeler Dies at 92
Mrs. Clara Belle Keeler, 92, Estherville, died Friday, July 21, 1972, at Holy Family Hospital from infirmities of advanced age.

Services were held this afternoon at 2 p.m. at Reese-Henry Funeral Chapel, Estherville. The Rev. H. Allen Wirtz officiated and burial followed at Oak Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Keeler was born Feb. 16, 1880, at Bradford, Ill., to Mr. and Mrs. Henry Wilcox. She was educated at Dallas County, Iowa, schools. Her parents later moved to Dallas County, Iowa, and she was educated in schools there.

In September of 1901 she was married to Charles Keeler and they moved to Estherville in 1902. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Estherville.

One son and one daughter survive, Harold Keeler of Fort Dodge and Mrs. Hazel Griffis, Estherville; three grandchildren, Charles Keeler, Robert Keeler and Mrs. Mary Young; one sister, Mrs. Florence Sheaffer, Arlington, Tex.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one son, one grandson and several brothers and sisters.

Pallbearers were Lloyd Johnson, George Booth, Selmer Amdal, Orris Sunde, Frank Bowers and Delbert Hinsch. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, July 24, 1972)
