Krantz Dies from Stroke at Hospital
Glenn Marion Krantz, 62, Estherville, died at 5:35 this morning at Holy Family hospital as a result of a stroke. He had been in failing heath the past year.

He was born March 2, 1908, at Estherville to Mr. and Mrs. Charles Krantz. He was educated in the Estherville schools and graduated from Estherville High School.

He was married Oct. 17, 1952, to Marjorie Poling at Sioux Falls. He had lived his entire life in Estherville. He was an electrician by trade and worked for 40 years for the City of Estherville.

He was a veteran of WW II and was a member of the V.F.W.

He was baptized in the Estherville Lutheran Church.

He is survived by one daughter, Kathleen, Estherville; one brother, Kenneth, Estherville; one sister, Mrs. Irene Reno, Spirit Lake.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister.

Services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Reese-Henry Chapel in Estherville, the Rev. Oscar E. Engebretson officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.

Friends may call at Reese-Henry Funeral Home, Estherville, after 10 a.m. Friday until time of service on Saturday.
