Guy Kruse Killed in Tractor Mishap
Guy Kruse, 67, Bancroft farmhand and former resident of the Estherville area, was killed about 10 a.m. today when the tractor he was driving overturned and rolled over him. Mr. Kruse was hauling corn from the field to the elevator on a farm four miles east and one and one-half miles north of Bancroft. According to the Kossuth county coroner, he drove too close to the edge of the grade, causing the tractor to overturn. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, October 12, 1955)

Guy Kruse Killed in Farm Accident
Guy Kruse, 66, was killed at approximately 10 a.m. Wednesday when the tractor which he was driving overturned on the Leo Goche farm near here.

Kruse, who was working as a farmhand for Groche, suffered fatal internal injuries when thrown from the tractor. He and Goche were hauling corn from the field at the time. Kruse was unmarried and had worked as a hired hand most of his life in this area. (Titonka Topic, Titonka, IA, October 20, 1955)
