ESTHERVILLE – Service for Maurice Moffitt, 41, of Estherville, will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at United Methodist Church of Estherville with burial in East Side Cemetery.

Mr. Moffitt died Tuesday at St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester. Visitation will be until 9 a.m. Saturday at Fuhrman Funeral Home of Estherville.

He was born April 19, 1937, at Dolliver and was educated in area schools. He married Barbara Clark June 14, 1956. They lived in Estherville, where he was employed by John Morrell and Co.

Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Mrs. Patrick [Deniese] Nicol of Estherville and Laurie Ann at home; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Moffitt of Estherville; two brothers and two sisters, Russell of Albert Lea, Keith and Mrs. Harold Smith both of Estherville and Mrs. Robert Eisenbacher of Armstrong.
